This role plays a key part in coordinating shift startup, supporting scheduling efforts, and ensuring production goals and quality standards are met Apply today as a Machining Team Lead in Hastings, NE!Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines and perform machine setups as required.*
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and ensure compliance with quality standards.*
- Verify first-piece inspections and ensure operators complete check sheets accurately.*
- Maintain daily production records and documentation.*
- Assist in coordinating workflow and scheduling during shifts.*
- Provide guidance and support to a team of 1015 operators.*
- Troubleshoot machine issues and ensure efficient operation.*
- Train and mentor machine operators (A, B, and C levels).*
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain awareness to prevent injury.*
- Support implementation and maintenance of 5S and housekeeping standards.*
- Assist operators with equipment setup, including gages.*
- Communicate effectively with management regarding production, personnel, and improvement opportunities.*
- Review and update time and attendance records in Job Boss.*
- Complete Time Variance Forms when the supervisor is absent.
