Machine Operator- Set up, run and monitor production machinery to create products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Reliable and able to work with attention to detail with a willingness to learn and improve along with being a team player. Key Responsibilities• Machine Operation: set up, operate and troubleshooting production machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and speed• Quality Control: inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications• Material Handling: load, unload and feed raw materials into machinery• Maintenance: perform routine cleaning and maintenance checks on equipment• Documentation: record production data, daily equipment check sheets and hourly production time logs accurately• Safety Adherence: follow all safety protocols (PPE), OSHA regulations and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment Required Skills and Qualifications• Ability to understand and operate various types of mechanical equipment• Physical Stamina: ability to stand for long periods (8-12 hour shifts) and lift up to 50 lbs.• Technical Skills: ability to read and interpret written instructions and basic computer skills• Mathematics: basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for measurements and calculations• Communication: strong verbal communication for reporting malfunctions and team collaboration Typical Working Conditions• Work is conducted in a factory environment that has concrete floors, may be noisy, dusty, smells and extreme heat• Involves standing, bending and repetitive motions for 2 handed work flow Common Equipment Operated• Computer controlled machines• Grinders, coiling machines, caliper and micrometer• Specialized machineryNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
