Job Description

Join Our Team as a Passionate and Dedicated Teacher!

Are you someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference in their lives? We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team and help shape young minds in a nurturing and supportive environment.

We currently have one positions available (Monday-Friday only, no nights, weekends, or holidays):

Shift: 11:00am-6:00pm or 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday and be at least 18 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement age-appropriate, whole-child lesson plans tailored to the needs of the children in your care.
Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Engage students through creative and effective teaching strategies.
Monitor and assess student development, providing feedback and support.
Communicate and collaborate with other teachers, parents and guardians to encourage continued growth.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive space for all children.
Use positive behavior management techniques to support emotional and social development.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the care and development of 2-year-old children, including feeding, diapering, and supporting their learning milestones. You will share the classroom with a co-teacher, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Please Note: A deep love for children and a great deal of patience are musts for this position. Working with little ones can be incredibly rewarding-but it also requires energy, empathy, and consistency.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to pass a background check through Utah Childcare Licensing.
Possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Permit.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and eager to work with young children.
Willingness to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential within one year of employment (we offer full support throughout the process).
Must be able to life 50 pounds and be on your feet for most of the shift.
