Job Description
- Shift: 11:00am-6:00pm or 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
- Implement age-appropriate, whole-child lesson plans tailored to the needs of the children in your care.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Engage students through creative and effective teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student development, providing feedback and support.
- Communicate and collaborate with other teachers, parents and guardians to encourage continued growth.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive space for all children.
- Use positive behavior management techniques to support emotional and social development.
- Must be 18 years or older and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to pass a background check through Utah Childcare Licensing.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Permit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to work with young children.
- Willingness to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential within one year of employment (we offer full support throughout the process).
- Must be able to life 50 pounds and be on your feet for most of the shift.
