Mental Health Worker (MHW) – Behavioral Health

📍 Concord, NH | 💲$20/hour | 40 Hours Guaranteed | 13-Week Contract

Earn up to $3,200/month gross at 40 hours per week — with overtime opportunities available for even higher earning potential!

New Hampshire Hospital, in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking compassionate and dependable Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to join a dedicated psychiatric care team in Concord, NH.

Available Shifts

First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting with patient admissions and orientation
Monitoring patient safety and behavior
Supporting hygiene and daily living activities
Maintaining a safe and clean therapeutic environment
Observing and documenting patient behaviors and conditions
Supporting patients during appointments and activities
Utilizing de-escalation and supportive communication techniques
Reinforcing individualized treatment plans
Communicating patient status changes to medical staff
Completing documentation and participating in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

Active AHA BLS Certification REQUIRED at submission
Previous Mental Health or Psychiatric experience preferred
Experience working in behavioral health settings preferred
Ability to work in acute psychiatric care environments
Orientation will be completed on 1st shift for 4 weeks
