Job Description
The Custodial Technician (C-Tech) is responsible for:
- Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members of the school community
- Collaborating with the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) to develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning plans for the building and grounds
- Executing the cleaning plans
- Restocking bathroom supplies
- Removing trash and recycling from the building
- Responding to urgent custodial needs in a timely fashion
- Assisting with cafeteria services and cleaning, as needed
- Working occasional weekends and vacation periods
- Taking on other tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations

Position Requirements:
- Belief in the mission and values of Crescent City Schools
- At least two years of experience as a custodian or janitor
- Experience in schools and/or around school-aged children preferred
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Position involves daily exposure to cleaning agents, including bleach
- This is an in-person role
