Are you passionate about marketing and communications and looking to build your skills at a firm with the resources of one of the world’s largest banks? Do you have entrepreneurial spirit and a strong interest in gaining diverse experience across various aspects of communications and marketing? As an intern with Mizuho Americas’ Corporate Communications & Marketing (CCM) team, you will derive real-world experience by rotating through disciplines, including: Branding, Social Media, Digital, Sponsorships & Events, and Media Relations & Internal Communications. This rotational program will provide you with exposure to a broad range of tools and disciplines, including copywriting, paid media and advertising, video production, public relations, event management, and creative services.  

Responsibilities:

  • Branding: Assist our internal Creative Services and Media Studio teams in the development and execution of design projects and video production.
  • Social media: Work with the global Social Media team to support Mizuho’s social channels by drafting and editing copy, and helping to develop content pipelines.
  • Integrated Communications: Copywriting/editing for a variety of internal and external materials including press releases, thought leadership articles, employee-related news, executive remarks, firm-wide emails, and more. Also support digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, website content, and reporting and analytics.
  • Events: Help coordinate internal and external events including speaker series, town halls, golf outings, and client events.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a major in a related field, such as marketing, communications, PR/journalism, advertising, etc.
  • Expected graduation date of Spring 2027
  • Cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above
  • Team player with collegial style; high energy, drive and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel; SharePoint and Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Salary: $35 / hr
