Job Description
Servco's high school internship program is an opportunity for students to gain relevant work experience in the automotive field. Throughout their time at Servco, interns will be rotating between dealerships on Oahu and be mentored by Servco automotive technicians. This introductory program offers interns the opportunity to learn about the automotive technician field and gain exposure to the automotive career paths at Servco.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week) program which spans over a period of 7 weeks (6/09 - 7/24).

Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured learning program related to the automotive technician career pathway
- Fulfil various program requirements
- Shadow full-time automotive technicians and observe their daily work
- Review notes and recommendations on repair orders
- Assist with inspecting vehicles and advise Service Consultants of any areas of concern
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in high school
- Previous experience with volunteer work, school/student activities, leadership roles, etc. preferred
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks as assigned
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
