Summer 2026 Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Job Summary:
Assists the Mobile Solutions Engineering Department in support of design engineering and production support activities. Primary work involves using Solidworks software to create 3D models of designs and 2D drawings of components for fabrication release. Various other functions will include working with engineering to support production builds, review customer specifications, manage project management schedules and support new part number generation.
The co-op will be involved in engineering design, interpretation of customer specification and requirements, vendor selection processes, customer relations and active construction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Student actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum Experience: Design software (Solidworks 3D Modeling, 2D Drafting)
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical fundamentals and applications.
- Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Self-motivated to find opportunities to contribute and support the engineering team.
