The summer analyst program provides an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker and client exposure and higher, immediate "hands-on" experience.
About the Summer Analyst Program
KBCM provides its Summer Analysts unprecedented professional development opportunities through a mix of on-the-job training and structured, hands-on experience. The program is designed to provide broad experience across all stages of transaction executions, from pitch phase through closing. Because our Summer Analyst Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for you to return to KBCM upon graduation to start your capital markets career.
Job duties may include:
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Assist in drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, and creating client "pitch books", management and board presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Rising juniors enrolled in a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, economics or accounting graduating by May of 2028
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Our team works directly with our institutional investor clients and our executive industry leader community, as well as our partners in Equity Sales, Trading & Research to identify thematic areas of investor interest, including cross-industry intersections, tech-driven disruption, and evolving competitive landscapes.
To meet our clients' needs, we design, curate, and moderate events & discussions between institutional investors and private company executives with visibility and experience around those interest areas. Investors and private company executives both benefit from these collaborative and informative discussions, via insights gained as well as through collaborative relationships.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a weekly salary of $1,440 per week. Summer Analysts in this position are eligible for overtime compensation which is paid in accordance with the Fluctuating Workweek Method. Compensation also includes a $2,000 Summer Analyst Sign-on Bonus.
