SEASONAL POSITION

Please note: We are not accepting J-1 Visa students at this time and do not sponsor visas at our park. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Please ensure you are available to attend an in-person interview at the date and time you select, as exceptions cannot be made to this requirement.

What you get to do:

• Sells merchandise to guests at stadiums throughout the park.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for long periods, including working outdoors in varying weather conditions such as heat and direct sun exposure
• Sells glow merchandise in various areas of the park during summer nights
• Stock trays and sell merchandise to guests in a stadium setting.
• Serves alcohol in compliance with company policy.
• Calls out (barks) merchandise while walking up and down stadium stairs and ramps.
• Assist other locations throughout the park as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed:

• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to serve/sell alcohol in designated areas
• Certification requirement: Candidate must have the ability to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification through the SeaWorld training process.
• High School Diploma.
• Must be comfortable working in a physically active role that involves continuous movement, stairs, and crowd interaction
• Strong written/verbal communication skills in English.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays up to 40 pounds while walking through the park and the stadiums.
• Must be able to add and subtract quickly, and be able to count back correct change without the aid of a register or calculator.
• Must be able to work indoors and in outdoor weather conditions (i.e., direct sunlight, wet, humid conditions, etc.).
• Work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.

Availability:

• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and Holidays.
• Seasonal Ambassadors must have at least 5 days of unrestricted (12 continuous hrs. within operating hours for the area) availability to include both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays

Compensation: 17.75 USD Hourly
