Job Description

Join East End Home Care as a dedicated Home Health Aide providing compassionate support to clients in Southold, NY. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their own homes. This position offers $25.00 per hour, paid weekly, with immediate cases available.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers safely and respectfully.
  • Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes to supervisory staff.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients throughout the day.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and communicate effectively with the care team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role preferred.
  • Must have a home health aide certificate and have been registered with a home health agency within the last 2 years to qualify.
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Must pass background checks and any required health screenings.
