**Job Overview:**

We are currently in search of a proficient Pipefitter Helper in Connersville, IN. The Pipefitter Helper will play a crucial role in assisting with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical piping systems.

**Responsibilities:**

- Aid in the assembly and installation of various metal and non-metal pipes

- Assist in threading pipes using appropriate machinery

- Support in fabricating pipe sections, equipment supports, and related components

- Help maintain and repair pipelines, HVAC systems, and other mechanical installations

- Collaborate on building pipe systems for diverse applications

- Utilize calipers and other tools for precise measurement and cutting of pipes

- Assist in basic mathematical calculations for accurate measurements

- Support in pipe installation and repairs through tasks like soldering and rigging

**Experience:**

- Previous experience as a Pipefitter Helper, or Pipefitter

- Familiarity with cutting, beveling, assembling, threading, maintaining, and fabricating pipes is preferred

- Knowledge of codes standards related to pipeline installations is beneficial

- Ability to use calipers effectively for precise measurements

- Basic mechanical knowledge for understanding system components

- Experience with pipe threading, welding, or related tasks is a plus
