WATER DAMAGE CREW CHIEFS

Position Overview:

Our locally owned Frederick, MD ServiceMaster franchise is seeking self-motivated, hardworking and customer service oriented people to join our team

  • Job Type: Restoration, Leadership
  • Work Hours: Full Time
  • Compensation: $17.00 to $22.00 Depending on Experience.
  • Benefits: Health/ Vision/ Dental Insurance, 401k, Disability Benefits, PTO, Holidays and Paid training.
  • Location: Frederick Maryland - MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MILES TO BE ABLE TO QUICKLY RESPOND TO OUR CUSTOMERS.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced disaster restoration CREW CHIEFS for our Water Damage Division. Water Damage Crew Chiefs demonstrate leadership and coaching skills through effective instruction and supervision of team members. Utilizes technology to record accurate and detailed job information and documentation into job management software programs, participates in on call rotation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the team's performance accordance to ServiceMaster Restoration guidelines and specifications.
  • Assessing damaged properties to prevent further damage and stabilize.
  • Removing damaged materials.
  • Meet customers on site to guide them from chaos to calm.
  • Maintain inventory of clean, properly stocked, and organized service vehicles along with company equipment.
  • Be accessible by phone as necessary for on-call schedule.
  • Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
  • Understand and follow product usage instructions as well as to be able to pass instructions to team members.
  • Perform production process as scheduled and ensure quality control for all jobs.
  • Perform mitigation services to include extraction, flooring removal, drywall removal, equipment placement and containment procedures.
  • Effectively and efficiently enter drying data into moisture mapping platform: MICA.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Thrive in high pressure situations
  • Positive attitude, desire to learn and grow as well as improving daily
  • Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • IICRC Requirements: WRT, HST, AMRT
  • Restoration experience preferred

  • Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
