Job Description

The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization is hiring for an On-Call Security Specialist to work on our campus in Rockville, VA!

Hours: Weekdays (various hours)

Location: Rockville, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safety and security for campus by providing surveillance of persons and property

  • Checks IDs and issues appropriate badges as needed when visitors arrive at the gate

  • Handles all security situations as they arise and initiates appropriate actions

  • Monitor equipment such as fire alarm panels, surveillance system monitors and refrigeration systems

  • Meets, greets, and assists guests and staff on campus

Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Must be willing to train and obtain DCJS license and CPR/First AID certification within first few months of being hired.

  • Professional demeanor.
