Job Description
Bonney Staffing has partnered with a local company that manufactures mallets and soft-faced hammers for all industries worldwide and is the only producer of rawhide mallets in North America. This company is a leading producer of custom profile extrusions and fabricated parts for a variety of industrial applications. They are a family-owned business, operated in southern Maine since 1866!The CNC Machinist job in Saco, Maine is responsible for operating one of the CNC machining centers (Mills, Lathes, or router). The job entails fixturing the part in a vise and running the cycle. Operators are responsible for periodic inspection of parts during their shift. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position. CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Read and understand blueprint designs
- Set up machinery for production
- Rework metal to create the blueprint design
- Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Complete routine maintenance of their machinery
- Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC
- Attention to detail is probably the most important skill.
- Good attendance is important w/ this position
- In-depth knowledge of computer and information systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of metal machinery
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of mechanics, mathematic
- Schedule: Full Time 2nd shift 3:00pm- 11:00pm Monday- Friday
- Pay Rate: $20/hr
- Start Date: ASAP
