CNC Mill Machinist

2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm

About What We Do:

We design and manufacture precision measurement systems used in advanced aerospace and industrial applications. Our work directly supports national programs including weight and center of gravity measurement for NASA's Mobile Launcher supporting the SLS/Artemis missions, roll force measurement at steel mills, tension measurement for Orion spacecraft parachute cords, and rocket thrust measurement for fighter jet ejector seat systems.

Position Summary:

The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines

Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions

Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments

Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting

Maintain production and quality documentation

Follow safety and 5S standards

Qualifications & Requirements: Experience as a CNC Mill Machinist (setup and operation required)

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components

Familiarity with inspection tools and quality standards

Ability to work independently on 2nd shift

Strong attention to detail and reliability
