2nd Shift Electromechanical Assembler (Temporary to Hire)

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Electromechanical Assembler to join our Group and support our 2nd shift team members in driving World Class Excellence within our Level and Pressure Production Center. Within Level and Pressure Greenwood, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.

We're looking for a dynamic individual who excels at managing operations, motivating teams, and maintaining high standards to drive our production success.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly at appropriate location
- Fabricate sub-components as needed using various tools and machines
- Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation
- Conduct calibration for devices as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and notify supervisor of adjustments or scrap
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks
- Participate and assist with cross training employees on production processes where applicable
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5S Lean concepts
- Use SAP and MIKE software systems to look up or enter information
- Adhere to the safety guidelines for the work area
- Assist and maintain ISO procedures and documents that apply to position
- Determine the correct pack to use for each device
- Pack devices ensuring no damage during shipment
- Perform all functions to ensure highest quality and value of delivery to the customer

- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
- Able to use hand tools, power tools and operate machines
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams and production orders
- Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 0-2 years related experience or equivalent training.

For items weighing more than 50 pounds, the appropriate lifting assistance is to be used. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
