DescriptionMidsouth Steel seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain various machinery, which is crucial for structural steel fabrication and processing. As an operator of our machinery, you will contribute to the successful completion of various projects by ensuring the efficiency and precision of all cutting and drilling operations. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to understand specifications and machinery requirements, ensuring that the production process aligns with project timelines. Your expertise will not only aid in machine operation but also in troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure precise cutting and drilling as required.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet production deadlines and standards.
Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues with machinery in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience operating machinery.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
