2nd Shift Press Brake Operator
Essex Junction, VT
Looking for a skilled manufacturing role with a 4-day work week and 3-day weekends? Join a growing team as a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator and help produce high-quality sheet metal components in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Load machine programs and make adjustments as needed
- Form metal parts to precise specifications and tolerances
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues
- Perform basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Support other production departments as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous Press Brake or CNC machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks
- Team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic
