Job Description
Hamilton Connections is looking to fill a production role at a gluten free bakery in North Branford, CT. The ideal candidate has production and machine operation experience couple with steady work history. Feel free to apply or call us at 203-287-2870 for consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Measuring and mixing ingredients according to standardized recipes.
- Operating machinery such as dough sheeters, proofers, commercial mixers, and ovens.
- Examining products to ensure they meet the bakery's shape, color, and texture standards before they reach the consumer.
- Sweeping floors, wiping down work surfaces, and sanitizing machinery after use.
- Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate light manufacturing equipment with training.
- Maintain work areas and equipment.
- Ability to read and write English. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in a bakery or food handling is helpful.
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for 8 hrs. Standing, walking, lifting.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Details:
- 2nd shift 12:30pm to 9pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays if needed.
- $17.75 starting
