Job Description
Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder (MIG/Fluxcore/TIG) – Climate Controlled Facility
Location: Tulsa, OKPay: $22 – $26 per hourShift: 2nd Shift | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
HireCall is seeking experienced Welders for a great Tulsa manufacturing company with a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is an excellent opportunity for welders with 1–3 years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, Fluxcore, and TIG welding on metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and work instructions
- Set up and adjust welding equipment, including voltage and amperage settings
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must complete a weld test that includes:
- Written portion: Weld symbols and shop math (including fractions)
- Practical test: 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld with backer plate
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of on-the-job welding experience
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore welding
- Ability to pass a MIG/Fluxcore weld test
- Basic shop math skills including fractions
- Understanding of voltage and amperage adjustments for welding equipment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
- Ability to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, or aerial platforms
- Ability to work in varying temperatures when required
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
