Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech – South Charleston, WV

Contract: 13 Weeks | Shift: Day Shift, 4x10s | Pay: $3,752/week | Facility: General Hospital – 2 Bed Cath Unit

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is excited to partner with a general hospital in South Charleston, West Virginia to bring on a Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment while gaining valuable experience in a high-demand specialty.

Job Description

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures within a 2-bed cardiac catheterization lab. You’ll work alongside an experienced care team to provide the highest quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

  • Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures

  • Assist physicians with catheter insertions, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventions

  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related specialty

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS certification preferred

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent field

  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments

Schedule & Compensation

  • 13-week contract

  • Day Shift – 4x10s (40 hours/week)

  • Competitive pay: $3,752 per week
