Job Description
Under the direction of the ICU Director, the Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy within the department's scope of care to patients as ordered by the physicians in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners
- ACLS within one year of employment
- NRP within 6 months of employment
- BLS required
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience preferred
- Neonatal experience preferred
