The Role
We're seeking a visionary experienced leader to drive our engineering efforts and scale our operations. As Head of Engineering, you'll lead our R&D team, balance innovative research with product development, and spearhead our technical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our engineering team, fostering growth and leveraging diverse strengths
- Drive rapid technical progress in biobased polymer technology and sustainable manufacturing
- Oversee product development from research through commercialization
- Lead optimizing and scaling production processes
- Collaborate across departments to align technical capabilities with business goals
Ideal Candidate
- Advanced degree in Textile Science, Fiber Science, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, or related field(s)
- 8+ years in polymer-based product development, 3+ years in leadership
- Proficient in polymer processing and spinning technologies
- Proven track record in R&D leadership and successful product launches
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation
