Job Position Description:

With a 'One Team' mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean production guidelines. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our project technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Technician is responsible for:
  1. Communicate the process to the customer and provide daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence.

  2. Assess and evaluate job severity and extent of damages.

  3. Understand and promote the operational systems used by the company:

a. Company CRM

b. Xactimate

c. MICA / Mitigate

  1. Be able to train new employees on the specific responsibilities for Technicians

  2. Maintaining a professional, positive attitude and appearance at all times.

a. Must be willing to wear company provided uniform.

  1. Develop a team culture with all field operations staff and other members of the organization

    • The Lead Technician is responsible for:
  2. Adhere to all OSHA and company safety procedures and standards.

  3. Understanding adhering to the following restoration procedures:

  4. Water Damage Restoration Procedures

  5. Mold Remediation Equipment and Procedures

  6. Fire and Smoke Cleaning Tools and Procedures

  7. Carpet Cleaning Equipment and Procedures

  8. Demonstrating a "can do" attitude at all times as a team player and completing all necessary paperwork when providing customer service.

  9. Maintaining all equipment and vehicles at a clean and serviceable leve; at all times.

  10. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to complete emergency jobs

Qualifications:

  • Valid Diver's License and ability to drive company vehicles & insurable.

b. Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

c. Able to work for extended time periods in large and confined spaces.

d. Able to work for extended periods of time with appropriate respirator equipment - Must pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation.

  • Minimum of 2 years field experience or;
  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification REQUIRED and;
  • IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Certification (FSRT) or;
  • IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD).
  • Tech Savy
  • Willingness for continued learning and growth
  • Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets and equipment
  • Aptitude with record keeping, recording information and communicating 'the message'
  • Awareness and respect for safety, using care are caution with teammates and customers
  • Strength with multitasking and handling deadlines
