Common House is a gathering space that cultivates community through unique programming, thoughtful design, and fine dining. Today, we have Houses in Richmond's Arts District and Chattanooga's Southside, our flagship location on Charlottesville's historic Downtown Mall and coming to New Orleans this summer! As we continue to expand to mid-sized cities throughout the country, we're building a family of professionals, dedicated to sharing our vision of comfort and community.

Position Summary:

Line cooks assist with food preparation, follow recipes, maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and possess a growth mentality. An ideal candidate focuses on service, education, and a positive kitchen culture based on trust and respect. 

Qualifications:

• Preferred, but not required, 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
• Interested in sourcing locally and seasonally
• Possesses a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and take direction
• Self-motivated, positive demeanor, punctual, strong multitasking skills
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends
