As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for the following:

·Performs specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.

·Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment.

·Seeks out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients. 

Qualifications include:

·Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing

·Completed at least one (1) semester of medical surgical clinical rotation

·AHA BLS
