Assistant Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor
Direct Hire | $55,000–$70,000 + Bonus PotentialBerne, IN | 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday)
Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire an Assistant Production Manager. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting teams, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing supervisor with experience in die casting, CNC machining, or assembly operations who is ready to grow into a larger leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support daily production operations on 2nd shift
- Lead and assign work to production associates to meet output and quality goals
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and development
- Monitor production schedules, machine changeovers, and workflow efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead teams and keep production running efficiently
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge preferred
- Experience in die casting, CNC machining, or manufacturing assembly highly preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 or IATF 16949 quality systems is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or manufacturing degree preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000–$70,000 salary, depending on experience
- Bonus potential in addition to base salary

- Stable Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed
