12hr Night Shift – Light Industrial Machine Operator $18/hr

OpSource Greenville has partnered with fast-paced bulk printing facility located in Greenville, SC. Training on 1st shift maybe required depending on your experience.

Pay for the position:

• $18.00/hour (Training on 1st is $17)

Current shifts:

• Training: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; ($17/hr while training).
• 3^rd shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; rotating 2-2-3, NO swing shifts. $18/hr

Essential Functions:

1. Set-up, Operating and Maintenance (printing machines)
2. Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
3. Able to set up basic jobs
4. Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
5. Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
6. Self-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better results
7. Trouble-shoot equipment
8. Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
9. Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
10. Reconciling/recording for all output
11. Accurately use job data capture to track time

Quality

1. Strong quality of work (attention to detail is a must)
2. Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
3. Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
4. Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
5. Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

1. Excellent attendance record and punctuality
2. Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Knowledge of USPS regulations
4. Ability to read and understand job tickets
5. Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets

Work Environment: Production Printing Facility/warehouse

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to continue standing for the entirety of the shift. 
2. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs regularly

Security Clearance: This Client is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
