This is a great entry level role for someone who is used to fast-paced work in a restaurant or retail, who likes to be on their feet, who enjoys helping others. It's a manufacturing trainee role doing material handling work that could lead to you learning how to operate machines and advance. Lots of growth potential and pay increases.
Job Title: Material Handler – 2nd & 3rd Shift (Non-Forklift Role)

Location: Greer, SC 29650
Schedule Options:
- 1st Shift Monday – Friday, 7:00AM - 3:00PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay:$16.00 – $17.00/hour (based on experience)
Job Type:Contract to Hire | Full-Time
About the Opportunity:
Opsource has partnered with a growing manufacturer of pile and extruded weatherseal products for the window and door industry. As part of our expansion, we’re hiring Material Handlers to support production by preparing and delivering raw materials and maintaining material flow on the floor.
This role is entry-level, does not require forklift operation, and comes with full training on all equipment and safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
The Material Handler ensures the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process.
Daily duties include:
- Pulling and staging raw materials from inventory
- Supplying materials to machines for weatherstrip and specialty product lines
- Operating yarn winders and converting bulk yarn per standard procedures
- Collecting and sorting rework yarn from machines
- Keeping the backwind area, raw materials area, and general workspace clean and organized
- Performing all duties with safety and efficiency in mind
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous material handling or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and working in a loud environment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness

- You're looking for a forklift driving role (this job does not involve forklift operation)
- You're uncomfortable with physically active work in a fast-paced environment
