Job Description
CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. - 3rd Shift: Sunday 8:15pm- 5:30am, Monday-Thursday 11:45pm- 5:30am
This individual will be involved with cutting-edge Cable TV (CATV) head-end equipment and set top box technology. This individual should be a high-energy, quick learner who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced work environment.
Duties:
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Maintenance of mechanical equipment (conveyors, robots, motors, pneumatic devices, control devices, scanners, photo-eyes, etc.).
· Understanding of equipment operation and basic trouble shooting for equipment controls (PLC, WES, WCS)
· Maintain daily logs, perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments as needed to keep the automation equipment in good working order.
· Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution. This may require non-shift work.
· Assist with any automation system installation and retrofits as needed.
· Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives
· Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience with building and automation equipment maintenance.
· Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues
· Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, control systems, warehouse equipment, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning
· Experience working with outside vendors and contractors
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Experience
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of Science (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Internship or project experience with test engineering.
