Machine Tender — Urgently hiring in Saco!Job Title: Machine TenderPay: $20.00/Hr.Hours: 11pm to 7am (Sunday night through Thursday night, with potential for extra shifts on Friday or Saturday), Training on 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm for the first week Start Date: ASAPJoin a family-oriented manufacturing team as a Machine Tender in Saco, ME, and contribute to a close-knit, team-driven environment.As a Machine Tender, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the extruding process and ensuring materials are produced accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with a small, dedicated crew to keep operations running smoothly and meet quality standards.What You’ll Do As a Machine Tender, you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring the extruding line, scooping powder, and maintaining attention to detail to ensure product specifications are met*
  • Reading blueprints to verify correct output and quality standards*
  • Handling materials, standing for long periods, and moving continuously during your shift*
  • Using hand tools and power tools as needed for setup and adjustments*
  • Upholding safety protocols, including wearing steel toes, eye protection, and gloves supplied by the client
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)*
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanically inclined mindset*
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods*
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools*
  • Reliability and stability with attendance and schedule adherence
