We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plate Mounter to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring printing operations run smoothly by accurately mounting printing plates to meet customer specifications.

Position OverviewUnder the direction of plant leadership, the Plate Mounter is responsible for installing and maintaining printing plates on sleeves, ensuring precision, quality, and consistency throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify job tickets for accuracy;request corrections as neededMatch plates to job specifications and inspect for proper conditionPrepare plates and mount them accurately onto sleevesEnsure all plate information is correct and sleeves are production-readyMake adjustments and repairs to plates during production runsRemove plates upon job completionComplete and maintain all required documentationMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

QualificationsEducation & Experience:

Equivalent to trade training or technical education preferred1 3 years of related manufacturing or production experience

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructionsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience working with mounting equipment, ink rollers, and measuring devicesAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, walking, and use of hands for detailed workOccasional standing, climbing, balancing, or bendingAbility to lift up to 100 lbs occasionallyStrong visual acuity (including color vision and depth perception)
