Job Title: 400 Ton Press OperatorLocation: Jasper, TNPay: $18.00 – $19.00/hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced 400 Ton Press Operator to operate heavy machinery used to fold, shape, and form steel pipes and metal materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 400 ton press machine to shape and form steel pipes and metal components
- Set up and adjust machine settings based on job requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Monitor equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Previous experience operating press machines (400 ton preferred)
- Experience working with steel or metal forming
- Ability to read blueprints or production instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
