As a Clinical Pharmacist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication services, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings, with the potential for temp-to-perm placement and the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.Required Skills:

• Valid Pharmacy state licensure
• BLS or ACLS certification
• PALS certification for pediatric practice
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or BS Pharmacy degree
• Hospital experience preferred
• Proven ability to interpret and transcribe drug orders accurately
• Expertise in preparing and dispensing pharmaceuticals, including sterile and non-sterile products
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, contraindications, and pharmacokinetics
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to supervise support personnel and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with antimicrobial stewardship programs
• Proficiency in renal drug dosing and pharmacokinetic consultations
• Previous involvement in quality improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and pharmacy automation systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is advantageous
• Relevant certifications maintained current and compliant

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work varied 8-hour shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 11:00 PM
• Willingness to travel as needed for assignments
• Must adhere to all certification, licensure, and continuing education requirements
• Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to hazardous substances and biological materials
