Start as soon as possible and enjoy continuous support from our 24/7 team throughout your assignment!Quick Facts Location: Alexandria, LA 71301 Start Date: 08/10/2026 End Date: 11/07/2026 Shift: 12-hour days (07:00-19:00) Hours per Week: 36-48 (guarantees available; overtime after 48 hrs) Employment Type: Travel Contract License/Certs: BLS, ACLS, RN License (state or compact) Experience: 1+ year in telemetry or med-surg preferredPay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Competitive pay rates ($60.30/hour) Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) comprehensive coverage Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (lawful compliance) Travel reimbursements, licensure, certifications, and other expenses when applicableWhat Youll Do Provide monitoring and care for telemetry patients, including MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow Administer medications and manage drips within protocol, excluding nitrates Conduct assessments, document symptoms, medications, and care plans accurately Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care Educate patients and families on their health conditions and treatments Maintain safety standards and adhere to hospital protocols Support patient and family emotional needs with compassionate careWhat You NeedRequired: BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA RN license in Louisiana or valid compact license Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with no call requirementsPreferred: Experience in telemetry or cardiac units Strong assessment and patient management skillsAbout the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA, dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac and medical-surgical care.
