- Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Independently deliver care in a cardiac/telemetry clinical setting while recognizing and managing changing patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and/or caregivers
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation
- Support patient needs including psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors based on your level of practice
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification from AHA
- Current RN license in state of employment or compact allowed
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty
- Strong comfort with cardiac and telemetry patient populations
