  • Hours/week: 36 or 48 guaranteed, with overtime after 48 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel assignment, full-time
  • License/Certs: Active RN license in Louisiana or compact, BLS, ACLS required
  • Experience: 1+ year ICU or critical care experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $62.31/hour

What You’ll Do
  • Provide top-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU
  • Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
  • Document patient assessments, care delivered, and progress
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Address complex patient needs including ventilator support, cardiac monitoring, and post-op care
  • Educate patients and families on treatments and recovery processes
  • Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
  • Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
  • 1+ year of critical care/ICU nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex patient cases
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

The unit offers a dynamic environment for experienced ICU nurses and is ideal for those seeking a temporary, full-time travel role with the potential for temp-to-perm opportunities.
