Job Description

Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Nursing Team as a Travel RN NightsElevate your nursing career by providing critical care in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment. As a Travel RN on nights, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care to diverse cases including strokes, cardiovascular events, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis. Immerse yourself in a challenging yet rewarding setting that demands expertise, adaptability, and compassion, all while working with a dedicated team committed to excellence.Required Skills:

Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA
CPI Blue Card certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-acuity or emergency clinical setting
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills
Ability to manage a complex caseload with a 4:1 patient nurse ratio
Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in trauma patient care (not trauma designated unit but occasional trauma cases)
Familiarity with stroke, cardiovascular, or behavioral health protocols
Previous travel nursing experience or familiarity with working in diverse healthcare environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
One or more years of acute care or emergency room nursing experience

Other Requirements:

Availability to work 7 PM 7 AM shifts on a rotating or consistent schedule
Every other weekend commitment
On-site security 24/7 availability
Ability to adapt to unit protocols and participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments
