Job Description

The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for delivering enterprise initiatives on time, with clear ownership and transparency. PMO team members partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, gaining broad exposure to the business while building repeatable execution practices that support long-term growth.

The Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives. This role ensures projects are executed with clarity, accountability, and discipline while maintaining alignment across departments, proactively managing risk, and providing leadership with transparent visibility into progress and outcomes.

The Enterprise Project Manager operates across organizational boundaries, leads without direct authority, and plays a critical role in enabling the company to scale effectively.

Primary

Enterprise Project Leadership

  • Own delivery of assigned enterprise initiatives from initiation through closeout
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable plans with clear scope, ownership, milestones, and success criteria
  • Balance scope, schedule, cost, and risk to achieve defined business outcomes

Cross-Functional Alignment & Accountability

  • Drive alignment across Operations, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and other stakeholders
  • Clarify ownership, dependencies, and decision rights across departments and teams
  • Resolve conflicts and competing priorities to maintain forward momentum

Risk, Issue & Decision Management

  • Proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, issues, and constraints
  • Establish early-warning indicators and escalation paths to prevent surprises
  • Frame decisions for leadership, including options, impacts, and trade-offs

Stakeholder Communication & Executive Reporting

  • Provide clear, concise, and timely project status to executive sponsors and leadership
  • Ensure transparency on progress, risks, issues, and key decisions
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive accountability

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise execution
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of PMO standards and governance
  • Support portfolio visibility, prioritization, and capacity planning

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University in Business, Operations, or Engineering
  • PMP- Project Management Professional Certificate required
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with project scheduling and reporting tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com or similar preferred)
  • Organizational and planning skills, including detailed documentation and scheduling.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to adapt to and overcome obstacles. Engineering competence and judgement.
  • Ability to build collaboration across leaders and departmental colleagues to gain support for initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, results-oriented, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in Product Development projects
  • Takes initiative to bring forward new ideas to improve processes and programs
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with a sense of urgency and navigate through deadlines
  • Demonstrated resiliency; able and willing to explore different paths to achieve an outcome. Consistently demonstrates good judgment.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience required

Experience leading cross-functional or enterprise initiatives strongly preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, capital projects, quality systems, or ERP environments is a plus

Travel may be required based on project needs (up to 30-50%)
