Job Description

Job Title: DevOps Architect Location: United States,Texas,Dallas Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure automation, containerization, and monitoring solutions. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll lead DevOps initiatives and collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement DevOps frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Design and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Lead containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS. Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Implement and enforce security best practices, including secrets management, role-based access, and audit compliance. Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and automation. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles. Proven experience architecting DevOps solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.). Expertise with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert). Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). Background in security practices, compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).
