• Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (alternating between Lake Charles and St. Patrick facilities)
• Duration: Ongoing assignment
• Hours/week: 36 hours
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Licenses/Certs: RT or RCP License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC RRT
• Experience: 1-3 years of critical care experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide critical pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision
• Manage and operate ventilators and airway support devices, including BiPAP and CPAP
• Perform patient assessments, blood gas collection, and analysis
• Respond effectively to emergency codes (Blue/White)
• Assist with aerosolized drug delivery and airway management procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
• Participate in quality surveys and team initiatives
• Floats between facilities and covers night shifts with a 5:1 patient-to-therapist ratio

What You Need:Required:

• RT or RCP license in Louisiana
• BLS certification via American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS certification
• 1-3 years of critical care experience

Preferred:

• Experience with pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, polysomnography, and transport duties
