Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead Sitework/water - sewer - drainage Estimator with a minimum of 10 years’ experience estimating in this field. An ideal candidate would be self-motivated, honest, driven, responsible and punctual, with a good work ethic, respect, and integrity with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.  Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowing Spanish is a plus but not required. SMC requires a background check and is a drug free work place with random testing.

Qualifications & Skills Include but are not Limited To:

  1. Minimum of 10 years estimating experience.
  2. Proficient in Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word
  3. Evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that details have been reviewed to successfully provide the clients with an accurate price
  4. Have a thorough understanding of scopes with the ability to read, understand and do take offs on blueprints
  5. Prepare and submit proposals to clients
  6. Prepare and submit purchase orders to vendors
  7. Clean driving record with reliable transportation
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
