What You’ll Do

• Perform and document initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on patient needs.
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress, trends, and when intervention is needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care consistent with nursing standards.
• Make clinical nursing decisions and modify the plan of care based on patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient/significant other education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Coordinate team assignments and delegate work appropriately to support safe, efficient care (including float coverage when assigned).

What You NeedRequired

• Current New Mexico RN license or a Compact state license
• BLS via AHA certification
• ACLS via AHA certification
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
• Willingness to float to assigned locations/units (additional certifications may be required based on unit needs)
