- Coordinate and implement patient care for the assigned Emergency Room patient population.
- Provide safe, efficient, high-quality nursing care in alignment with unit standards.
- Assess patient needs and deliver age-appropriate care consistent with clinical best practices.
- Communicate clearly with physicians, staff, patients, and families to support coordinated care.
- Demonstrate effective clinical practice and quality-focused work habits.
- Maintain awareness of patient rights and deliver care with consideration and respect.
- Float or support other areas as needed when census or acuity is low (as assigned).
- Current New Mexico RN licenseorcurrent Compact state RN license
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
- AHA PALS Certification(or ENPC)
- TNCC or ATCN
- Ability to handle emergency/crisis situations and perform physical demands of patient care (standing/walking, positioning/transfer support, reaching/stooping/bending)
- CPI or Equivalent
