Join Our Team as a 51101 - Travel: RN - OR/Surgery Pre-Operative - DAYSAre you a dedicated and resourceful Registered Nurse looking to elevate your career while experiencing new environments? We are seeking talented OR/Surgery Pre-Operative RNs for travel assignments committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical setting, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and make a meaningful difference in patients' livesall while enjoying the flexibility and adventure of travel nursing.In this role, you will coordinate and implement pre-operative nursing care for patients across diverse age groups, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and perform necessary interventions to prepare patients for surgery. Your expertise will support positive outcomes and contribute to a collaborative and compassionate clinical environment.Required Skills:
- Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification from AHA
- ACLS Certification from AHA
- Proven clinical proficiency in surgical or pre-operative nursing
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Prior travel or multi-facility nursing experience
- Additional certifications such as CNOR or perioperative nursing specialty
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Less than two years of RN experience will be hired at CN I level; higher levels considered with relevant experience or certifications
- Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing highly preferred
- Must be available for 5-day weekly shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- No weekend requirements; on-call 1-2 nights per week from shift end to 2200 hours
- Floating to multiple locations as needed
- Use of EPIC EMR system
- Dress code: Pewter scrubs
- Willingness to travel
