Your role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, performing clinical interventions, and educating patients and their families. Your expertise will support patients recovery journeys across diverse age groups, contributing directly to positive health outcomes.Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and execute clinical interventions
- Strong communication skills tailored to patient developmental levels
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night hours (7 pm 7 am)
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and delivering compassionate care
- Previous experience in acute rehab or related inpatient settings
- Additional nursing certifications or specialized training
- Bilingual abilities for enhanced patient communication
- Experience in point-of-care testing procedures
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Up to 2 years of nursing experience; new graduates considered at CN I level
- National professional nursing certifications (e.g., CCRN) considered a plus
- B.S.N. or higher degree for eligibility to advance within clinical ladders
- Valid RN license in New Mexico or a state participating in the Compact agreement
- Ability to work nights and commit to a full-time schedule
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings
- Engagement in ongoing professional development and adherence to safety regulations
