What You’ll Do

• Analyze specimens according to established laboratory procedures and policies, confirming specimen appropriateness
• Perform assigned tests using correct test procedures and documentation practices
• Investigate unusual or abnormal results and follow laboratory policy for resolution
• Review and report results accurately to support clinician decision-making
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively as part of routine workflow
• Maintain compliance with CLIA requirements for high complexity testing processes
• Follow laboratory safety practices for regulated exposures and hazardous materials

What You NeedRequired

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
• Certification/Licensure:CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP) or equivalent
• CLIA 88 compliance: Ability to meet CLIA 88 requirements for performing high complexity testing
• Ability to read and write English and communicate effectively
• Laboratory equipment operation skills

Preferred

• 1 year of general laboratory experience
• Ability to adjust/float within needs of the assignment (locations/schedule adjustments may be required)
