What You’ll Do
  • Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient needs.
  • Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress, trends, and the need for intervention.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care within established nursing standards.
  • Make nursing decisions based on patient assessments and outcomes, modifying the plan as needed.
  • Implement and document timely nursing interventions appropriate to patient needs.
  • Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
  • Perform point-of-care testing procedures as needed.
What You NeedRequired
  • Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • ACLS Certification (AHA)
  • TNCC Certification
  • Ability to provide care appropriate to the age/type of patient population served (facility/unit standards)
Preferred
  • Experience in critical care settings (not specified, but helpful)
