If you are passionate about surgical support and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this position is tailored for you.Overview As a Sterile Processing Tech on the move, you will be responsible for the efficient and compliant sterilization of medical instruments, supporting approximately 30 nursing units and clinics. This travel role allows you to expand your professional experience while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in sterile processing operations. You will oversee daily activities, coordinate schedules, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain seamless workflows, ultimately contributing to exceptional patient outcomes across various locations.Required Skills

• Certified as a HSPA Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) or Certified Registered Central Sterile Tech (CRCST).
• Strong understanding of sterilization procedures, including adherence to AMI guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and supervisory skills to manage multi-shift staffing.
• Ability to process surgical instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams.
• Proven ability to document activities accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Knowledge of departmental safety standards and compliance protocols.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working across multiple healthcare facilities or in traveling tech roles.
• Knowledge of inventory management and vendor negotiations.
• Familiarity with healthcare software systems and scheduling tools.
• Additional certifications in infection control or quality assurance.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Central Supply or Sterile Processing.
• Prior experience in a multi-facility or travel assignment is advantageous.

Other Requirements

• Valid certification as specified above (CER or CRCST).
• Availability to travel as required, with flexible scheduling between 12:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
• Must be prepared for nationwide travel, with reimbursements provided where applicable.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
